Holiday Week…
And A Bit More!
FCCLA, Class Officers, and other interested students gathered at lunch in November to plan an extended holiday celebration for WAHS. Students created this slide show with a holiday theme, which was presented to staff at the November staff meeting.
WASD made the change from the traditional shortened “Holiday Week” to a new theme this year: “The 12 Days Before Holiday Break.” Students of all ages and staff alike look forward to dress up days, class competitions, and fun activities.
WAHS Dress Up days:
- December 7th: Cozy Cabin (Holiday sweatshirts, cabin socks and slippers)
- December 8th:Sweater Weather (wear a nice warm sweater)
- December 9th: Mad for plaid (flannels)
- December 12th: Long winter’s nap: Holiday PJ’s/Loungewear
- December 13th: Holiday Card Family Photo
- December 14th: Snow is in the Air (Wear white, snowflakes, winter apparel)
- December 15th: Holiday movie dress up day. (dress up as your favorite christmas movie character)
- December 16th:Santa’s crew (reindeer, elves, etc.)
- December 19th: Holiday PJ’s/Loungewear and class shirt
- December 20th :Merry and Bright (bright colors or light up accessories
- December 21st:Red- seniors Green- Juniors Blue- Sophomores Silver/gold- Freshman
- December 22nd: Ugly sweater
