Over the course of this year’s marching band season, the Westby Marching Norse continually practiced both a street routine and a halftime show to the song “Shut Up and Dance.” They participated in many parades and other events this year, including the Cashton Fall Fest Parade, the Maple Leaf Oktoberfest Parade, the Homecoming Parade, and numerous football halftime shows. All events were a success, and, after the end of a productive marching season, our band performed their annual marching review concert on Monday, October 17th.

According to a few interviewed students, the collective favorite event of this year was the Marching Review Concert. Throughout this show we played all of the songs that were included in our past halftime shows and parades. The band was led by drum majors Bethany Roethel, Mora Martine, Ombeni Goss, Jade Levendoski, and Brigitta Haugen, and also accompanied by the colorguard, song leaders, and twirlers.
